Eligibility:
The call for entries is open to all photographers nationwide. We are embracing the growing season at MWCP. Looking for images of a range of plant life grown from the earth; flowers, plants, vegetables, crops, etc. All photographic media is welcome; black & white gelatin silver prints, color c-prints, digital prints, alternative processes, iPhone photography, etc.

Submit up to 5 images for $40, $5 for each additional image.
Selected artists will have their work featured in the exhibition opening MAY 25, 2012, and will also be featured online.

Submission Format - Online or Mail
Online:
Select the number of images on the online form and click “Add to Cart.” Check out at the Pay Pal form. Email photographic images in jpeg format: 72 dpi, no larger than 3000 X 3000 pixels. Name each image file with your name and corresponding number from the entry form image list below, for example: smith_jane_1.jpg.
Enter the information from the entry form image list and include an optional artist statement in the body of an email. Attach your images and email to: info@centergalleryonline.com

Prepare photographic images in jpeg format: 72 dpi, no larger than 3000 X 3000 pixels. Name each image file with your name and the corresponding image number from the entry form image list, for example: smith_jane_1.jpg.
Include the entry form image list, optional artist statement in text format, CD with images of your entry and payment to Center Gallery for your entry fee. Checks or credit cards are accepted.
NOTIFICATION OF SELECTED PHOTOGRAPHERS
Participating photographers and photographs will be posted online at www.mwcponline.org on May 1st.
Particular instructions for exhibition will be sent via email. Artists must reply to the email to confirm their participation in the exhibition.
INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPATING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN THE EXHIBITION
Exhibition Format:
All photographic works should be ready to hang on the wall for the exhibition, for example: Framed pieces that are equipped with D-rings and wire, or mounted on sturdy substrate material equipped with a hanging system.
Shipping of Selected Works:
Work must be delivered to the gallery by May 18. If work is not delivered by due date, artist is disqualified from the exhibit. Exhibiting artists are expected to cover the round trip shipping costs for their work. Please ship the work in reusable packaging, along with return postage for the package. For example: Fed Ex account number on a return shipping label, or credit card information to bill the shipping charges. If the package does not have pre-paid return shipping included, or the artist has not arranged payment of return shipping, the work will be donated to the Midwest Center for Photography Benefit Auction which will be held in September. Associated Fees and Information:
There is a 40% gallery commission for work sold. Center Gallery reserves the right to reproduce images for promotional and publication purposes if necessary. If the work differs significantly than the submission, or the work does not meet professional presentation standards, the work will be disqualified from the exhibit. Center Gallery cannot be responsible for damage or loss during transit. By submitting work to the call for entries you agree to all terms and conditions set forth in the entry form.
