ELIGIBILITY

The call for entries is open to all photographers nationwide. All photographic media is welcome.

During the current climate of our times, personal identities and one’s sense of self come under examination. The self-reflective group exhibition “Identity” takes an introspective look and aims to represent the interrelated current of personal identity in America. We are seeking portraits, documentary approaches or images of place that help to define us as individuals and a community of people. Given the freedom of expression that the discipline of photography offers, we hope to portray an honest snapshot of the face of humanity showing insight into our social construct of self, and our sense of connection with others. The photographic works selected for this exhibition will not only celebrate the diversity of America, but will help bring together the unique identities and family heritages that shape this country.

Selection will be based upon the series of work submitted by each artist rather than solely on individual images. A brief artist statement is optional.
