ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to all photographers. And open to all photo processes.
Competition for the MWCP Juried Exhibition is based upon five categories of entries:
•PEOPLE
•PLACES
•OBJECT
•ABSTRACT
•CONCEPT
Selection will be considered from the quality of individual images submitted by each photographer.

Submit up to 5 images for $40, $5 for each additional image.
Selected artists will have their work featured in the exhibition and online. There will $500 awarded in Director’s Choice Awards, and one year artist representation at MWCP online.

SUBMISSION FORMAT
Select the number of images above and click “Add to Cart.” Check out at the Pay Pal form. Email photographic images in jpeg format: 72 dpi, no larger than 3000 X 3000 pixels. Name each image file with your name and corresponding number from the entry form image list below, for example: smith_jane_1.jpg.

NOTIFICATION OF SELECTED PHOTOGRAPHERS
Selected photographers and photographs will be posted online at www.mwcponline.org.
All photographers who entered must check the website for their name listed among the selections, photographers that are not selected will not receive an email notification. Instructions for the exhibition will be sent to participating photographers via email.
INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPATING PHOTOGRAPHERS IN THE EXHIBITION
Exhibition Format:
Photographers must submit high resolution files for printing, and must be responsible for sending their files to the gallery email address by the date listed in the email notification. MWCP will print your exhibition quality image for the MWCP JURIED EXHIBITION at no cost to you. Prints will be exhibited in standard size frames, rented by MWCP at $15 each. Exhibition prints will be a maximum size of 16” X 24” if rectangle, 20” X 20” if square. At the close of the exhibition, photographers have the option to purchase the print, or framed print and we will ship it to you. Remaining prints will be featured in the gallery for sale in flat files for a period of one year. Any work that has not been purchased after one year will be donated to the Midwest Center for Photography Benefit Auction which will be held each year. Photo copyright remains with the photographer at all times.
Associated Fees and Information:
There is a 40% gallery commission for work sold. MWCP reserves the right to reproduce images for promotional and publication purposes if necessary. Any work that differs significantly from the entry, or is sub-standard quality will be disqualified from the exhibit. MWCP cannot be responsible for damage or loss during shipping transit. Entry fee is non-refundable, no exceptions. By submitting work to the call for entries you agree to all terms and conditions set forth in the entry form.
